Highlight

The Baltic hub aims to understand the reasons why women rarely choose STEM studies in Smart Mobility. For this reason we would like to closely communicate with the schools of the Baltic region so that the roots of unequal students’ gender distribution in the career-related decision making would be discussed and addressed. We invite the schools from the Baltic states to contact us and make progress happen!

Context

The Baltic Hub aims to contribute in gender equal employment opportunities in future transport system through the systematic analysis of the main barriers for women to work in transport companies and with a view to suggest ways of eliminating those barriers and to understand the reasons of why women rarely choose STEM studies in Smart Mobility.

The Baltic Hub investigates railway transport, air transport and road transport sectors, with the objective to identify measures that will ensure gender equality in employment in future transport systems.

WHO WE ARE

The Baltic Hub is managed by Smart Continent LT UAB, a Lithuanian consultancy which operates as interdisciplinary research and consulting service provider.
