Sanjeevi Suganthi Pugazhenthi – my experience with TInnGO

Working in collaboration with the TInnGO team (UK Hub) for the past year was a great experience. As an MA Automotive & Transport Design graduate (Coventry University, 2020), the internship was a good transition from academia to more industry and user-centred design.

I enjoyed our weekly meetings and design reviews, where people from diverse backgrounds gave feedback on proposed designs. During the pandemic time (2020-2021), this internship was a huge support for my mental health as well, as I engaged in the project with wonderful people (from different time zones). Even though ‘Teams’ gave us some hard times, I think it was fantastic to work together remotely from different countries. I am grateful for the opportunity and hope to incorporate gender, diversity, and inclusivity in my future designs.
