TInnGO was present at CIVITAS Forum 2021 through the participation of Angela Carboni, TInnGO Italian Hub. She spoke in the “Inclusive mobility” session on 21st October. She had the opportunity to present the work done as a Hub on assessing the degree of inclusiveness and sensitivity to gender issues of local Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans.
She explained the work done: the drafting of the GaDAP policy brief and the formal involvement with Turin Metropolitan City signed in the framework of the TInnGO project and the GaDAP activities. Indeed, the analysis conducted on the SUMP documentation of other Italian metropolitan cities revealed a lack of attention to gender issues in the mobility planning process. However, more interest has been found in developing the plan of Turin Metropolitan city.
