A collaboration has been signed between the Metropolitan City of Turin, the City of Turin and the Politecnico di Torino, in the framework of the TInnGO project and the GaDAP activities.
“The first actions of Turin metropolitan city in the context of TInnGO,” explains the metropolitan councillor with responsibility for transport Dimitri De Vita, “will concern the integration of gender in the actions of the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) and in the drafting of the travel plans of the Authority, as well as companies and organizations in the territory. Within the SUMP, mobility is already being analyzed in a functional perspective with respect to the different categories of users – including women – and we believe that the exchange of information with the Politecnico and all the partners of the project can be mutually beneficial and lead to the implementation of initiatives that could improve travel.”
