In November 2019, the Scandinavian Hub held a workshop on biking for all with TInnGO partners and a number of Scandinavian stakeholders working in the field of biking. The aim of the workshop was to introduce the field of biking and diversity, including reflections upon which social groups are biking and which are not; for whom are bike planning for; how to make biking attractive for more people, etc.
The workshop was led by hub leaders Malin Henriksson (VTI) and Michala Hvidt Breengaard (UCPH) together with the Swedish consultancy, Living Cities. Mats Jarnhammar and Jennie Björstad from Living Cities presented their project Pedalista, introducing approaches to working with diversity in biking.
The workshop took place at the University of Copenhagen, Department of Sociology.
