The two sister projects start collaborating
The French Hub has recently met with Elizabeth Young, founder and president of WAVE (Women and Vehicles in Europe), a French association that works to promote mixity in the automobile and transportation sector in France, focusing on opening career opportunities for women in the sector. Based in Paris, WAVE is also a key partner of the DIAMOND project together with ‘Genre et Ville’ and Autolib’-Velib’.
The meeting opened up new collaboration opportunities between the two projects, ensuring WAVE’s participation and support in the research and local engagement activities carried out by LGI for the French Hub. Improving the mixity of the transportation sector and fostering women access to career paths in mobility is indeed an important challenge covered by the hub and by the TInnGO project.
