GammaDonna association took part in the event organised by TInnGO Italian Hub on women and entrepreneurship. This is a non-profit association that supports and promotes the growth of the role of women as entrepreneurs. The aim is to contribute to sustainable and lasting economic development in Italy and to reduce the gender gap in the socio-economic field.
Since 2004, the association has promoted the GammaDonna Award to help reduce the gender gap in the socio-economic field by discovering and enhancing women’s entrepreneurial initiative. Today it is the first Italian TV format dedicated to innovative female entrepreneurship. Over the years, the GammaDonna Award has brought to the fore authentic and little-known talents who have established themselves nationally and internationally, demonstrating that, in Italy, women’s entrepreneurial vocation is vital and can provide a valid and robust contribution to the revival of the economy.
GammaDonna association promotes the “Women startup award”, powered by Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, for the most innovative startupper in the Smart city, Smart mobility, Life Science, Healthcare & Medical Devices, Bioeconomy, Media, Entertainment & Gamification, Fashion, Agri-food tech, Cleantech, Energy sectors. Moreover, the “Giuliana Bertin communication award”, by Valentina Communication, is the recognition for the entrepreneur who has distinguished herself in the field of on and off-line communication. This year, the “Special mention” of the European Commission for sustainable development will be awarded, a prestigious award for the entrepreneur capable of interpreting sustainability in an unprecedented, effective and concrete way, in terms of environmental, social, and economic impact.
