25 November is the International Day designated by the United Nations General Assembly for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. The city of Turin is active: at this link (source of the picture), it is possible to find the initiatives that will be available dealing with topics such as gender education, female entrepreneurship, violence and disability.
The TInnGO Italian Hub members will attend the event organised by Politecnico di Torino titled “Rispetto e Consenso – Costruire la Cultura per contrastare la Violenza” (Respect and Consensus – Building Culture to Counter Violence). The meeting is designed to frame phenomena such as femicide and gender-based violence in a larger system of discrimination, which has its roots in our culture. In this regards, Politecnico di Torino has prepared this video to to raise awareness of the issue.
