Romanian Hub runs a survey on gender equality and diversity in the transport area

“Smart mobility” is an emerging area in the transport sector that will mean new ways of travelling, with new services and new types of information that travellers will need to adapt to. For example, “smart mobility” involves digitalization and automation of transport means. It is important that transition to smarter mobility takes place in such a way that all travelers have good access to services and travel opportunities.

In TInnGO we will map, test and develop methods and tools to make the future transport system more equal and inclusive for all travellers. A first step is to map the current situation in European countries.

How are gender equality and diversity in the transport sector achieved today, at national, regional and municipal levels? How are women and men represented? What methods and tools do transport planning at different levels have access to? What knowledge is missing?

TInnGO ROHUB runs this survey, to facilitate your organisation to contribute to the mapping. To facilitate the support from Romanian organizations the survey is translated in Romanian:

The survey consists of 20 questions concerning, for example, who in the organisation is responsible for and works with transport and gender equality and diversity, what tools, models, methods are used and how the organisation’s competences are on these issues. It is also possible to reason more freely about the subject area. We estimate that the survey will take 30 minutes to complete, depending on how much information the organisation has today and how much additional information you want to give.

Your answers help to develop the transport system towards more gender equality and diversity. The survey will be communicated to our partners in Europe and in a short report to participating organisations. It is also possible to participate in a case study after the survey: the case study will consist of interviews and probably a workshop or seminar which will be defined in dialogue with the participating organisations.
